Delta Sigma Pi
ABOUT DELTA SIGMA PI
Our History
In 1907, four business majors at New York University saw an opportunity to impact the lives of their fellow students. At the time, the best business school organization on campus was not open to many students, and these four enterprising undergraduates determined to start an inclusive fraternity for business majors—an organization that became Delta Sigma Pi.
In the latter part of the 20th century, Delta Sigma Pi saw the increasing role of women in the business world as a valuable social change. In 1975, Delta Sigma Pi officially became the nation's first co-ed business fraternity—a clear reflection of the heritage of inclusion on which Delta Sigma Pi was founded. Our Fraternity welcomes business majors of all backgrounds, regardless of race, gender, lifestyle, or creed, and Delta Sigma Pi is well known as an incredibly diverse organization.
Delta Sigma Pi continues to innovate, always growing in how we serve our members, our communities, and the business world. As the nation's foremost fraternity for business majors and professionals, we partner with our members for life, building the relationships, skills, and ideals necessary for them to make a significant impact wherever life leads. Learn more about Delta Sigma Pi's history as the nation's first co-ed business fraternity and the values and mission that keep us one of the best business school organizations in the world.
